Even after years of neglect, this pristine steel tower, now rusted and choked with vines, continues to pierce the skies at the heart of France. It's prone to groan warningly, as if about to topple over. The decrepit elevator is rickety, yet still some risk the climb, only to find the once beautiful, inspirational view of Paris had turned dark. There are abandoned cafes and a cinema on the top platform.
